The theme of this competition was 'Video Game Romance', inspired by this wonderful artwork by Hardy Fowler. My idea was to try to take some of tropes of old romantic film music and modernise them to fit the cyberpunk aesthetic. Not totally sure if I succeeded, but definitely tickled a new part of my brain.
